CLOSE CONTACT QUARANTINE STUDENTS ONLY - Recreational/Walk Time Sign Ups
• If you have tested POSITIVE for COVID-19, you are not eligible for walk time
• You must sign up for your slot 24 hours in advance for walk times Monday – Friday
• If you would like to walk on the weekends, please sign up by 12noon on Friday
• Walk times are between 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. only
• Your ID will be given access for the timeslot you choose
• Select no more than one time slot per day
• You must leave campus – You cannot utilize this time to stay on-campus or visit with friends
• Do not interact or be in close contact with others, which includes friends or family
• Mask must be worn at all times
• Practice social (physical) distancing and avoid large crowds or group gatherings
• You can only walk outside – This time cannot be used to enter stores or restaurants to pick items up
• Stay within the Shadyside area and surrounding neighborhoods
• You are permitted one hour and are expected to be back in your quarantine space at the end of that hour, no exceptions
• Do not utilize public transportation or enter anyone’s personal vehicle

Violation of this policy will result in judicial sanctions as determined by the Office of Residence Life. The Division of Student Affairs considers this service as an amenity provided to enrich the lives of quarantined residents but also reminds all residents that this service is a privilege that can be taken away if it cannot be handled responsibly. The Office of Residence Life reserves the right to remove quarantine recreational privileges of individuals, floors, or residence halls if these groups repeatedly fail to adhere to the policy.
