About this event and Who is it for ?

We have learned that when parents gather together, this is the best way for them to support their families, learn, grow, get inspired, feel connected, give back, and celebrate. So we provide regular opportunities to facilitate such gatherings, by helping parents and carers to access information normally only available to professionals while connecting them with others who share their passions.

You are welcome if you have children between 0-16 years of age with either emerging or established concerns about:

Preparing for and becoming new parents
Parenting in challenging times,
Early years development,
Safeguarding,
Promoting healthy social, emotional and brain development in young people.
What is covered every Monday?

In this workshop, parents are introduced to the ULUP Philosophy. They will discover 3 aspects of effective parenting. Parents are given specific ideas to discuss, think about and implement.

This workshop is open to parents with children between 0-16, but it is especially designed to help parents who need that extra boost and focus to set them up for the week.

Parent Boost Mondays is also the gateway to future specialist sessions such as:

Discover the resources you already have to build personal resilience and capacity as a parent.
Understanding the power of relationships in parenting and specifically how to use it.
What to expect when a new family member (Baby) joins the family.
How to develop a mentoring mindset and strategies (for older children).
Keeping children and young people safe (Safeguarding).
Spotting the signs of dysfunction in family life.
